Strawberry and kiwi is a fruit-stand pairing that nobody questions, and it holds up fine blended with almond milk and vanilla protein instead of eaten with a spoon.
Kiwi skin is edible and blends in fine if a few flecks do not bother you; peel it only if you want the glass perfectly smooth.

method
Pour the almond milk into the blender, add the strawberries, kiwi and protein powder.
Add the ice. Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds, until completely smooth.
Taste and adjust: a few more ice cubes for thicker, a splash more liquid for thinner. Drink cold.
chef's tips

- Use a protein powder with no added sugar. It is the difference between a few grams of carbs per scoop and a lot more.
