Iced Vanilla Latte Protein Smoothie in a glass

Same base as the Vanilla Chai Smoothie elsewhere on this list, just with cold brew instead of chai for the mornings that need coffee more than spice.

Swap in decaf cold brew and this one works just as well after dinner as it does before a workout.

Part of our 50 high-protein, low-carb smoothie recipes list.

method

  1. Pour the cold brew and almond milk into the blender, add the protein powder and vanilla.

  2. Add the ice. Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds, until completely smooth.

  3. Taste and adjust: a few more ice cubes for thicker, a splash more liquid for thinner. Drink cold.

chef's tips

  • Swap in decaf cold brew if you want this one at night.
  • Use a protein powder with no added sugar. It is the difference between a few grams of carbs per scoop and a lot more.
